| BALARAM CHAND is an accomplished VIOLIN player,excellent teacher and a leading player in the young generation of musician today. He is trained by Guru-BIPINBIHARI DAS, Prof-SUNILSHING MOHANTA,Prof-Late MOHAMED HAMID AHEAD, (A-grade artist A.I.R.), for 12years and successfully completed M.A.in Hindustani Violin from UTKAL UNIVERSITY,ORISSA in the year of 1998,and later moved for further training from GANESH/KUMRESH ( A-grade artist A.I.R) and LALGUDI RAJALAXMI (A-grade artist A.I.R) BALARAM has given performances at various music festival and concerts all over India and Abroad in different kind of musical concerts like Hindustani classical soloplaying in studio, fussion etc.
Study and Guidance
o The child should listen to the reference recordings every day at home to develop musical sensitivity.Rapid progress depends on this listening.
• Tonalization, or the production of a beautiful tone,should be stressed in the lesson and at home.
• Constant attention should be given to accurate intonetion,correct posture,and the proper bow hold.
• Parents and teachers should strive to motiveted the child so he will enjoy practising correctly at home.
• Through the experience musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability that can be developed.Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability just as all children developed the ability to speak their mother tongue.For the happiness of children,I hope these four essential points will be carefully observed and put to continual use in the home and studio. |
